How to choose
- Height range: Confirm the desk’s minimum and maximum heights against your seated and standing ergonomic heights. A general guideline: seated elbow height = desk height. For standing, elbow height when arms are relaxed at sides. Most adults need 28″–48″ range; taller users need desks reaching 50″+ at maximum.
- Weight capacity: Add up everything on the desk — monitors, dock, speakers, laptop, accessories, monitor arm base. A fully-loaded desk with dual 27″ monitors and a docking station can easily reach 50–70 lbs. Choose a desk rated for at least 2× the expected load.
